For my belov├Ęd’s birthday, we met up with some of our bridesmaids for a cream tea in Kensington, London. With champers. Yum. This very British institution consists of sandwiches, cakes, and of course scones, jam and cream. Whether one puts the jam onto the scone first, or the cream first is a matter of great debate. I have a strong opinion as to which of these is correct, but unfortunately I can’t remember!
