A visit to Niagara Falls with a good friend on a cold December day. Winter tourism is lovely, since it was very quiet with few people around. The drawback is the biting cold, such, that as can be seen, the spray from the falls freezes onto pretty much everything it touches. Which brings us back to a positive, the beauty of this tracery of ice over everything. My friend, however, did nearly kill me when I suggested we walk back to the train station to return (by bus in fact) to Toronto, a couple of miles in a howling, bitter wind!
